Overview

The Green Olympiad on Environmental Sustainability, initiated by CAI, is an in-person, school-based competition designed for students in Grades 6, 7, and 8 to address global challenges like climate change, and resource depletion. Focused on vital ecological themes - including Waste Management, Water Conservation, Climate Change, Energy Conservation, Biodiversity, Air Pollution - the initiative serves as a youth-led movement to test ecological knowledge, develop critical problem-solving skills, and inspire the next generation of eco-champions.

Terms & Conditions

• Eligibility & Categories: The Green Olympiad is open exclusively to students currently enrolled in Grades 6, 7, and 8.
• Registration Deadline: All registrations must be successfully completed and paid for by October 25, 2026. No registrations will be accepted after this date.
• Event Date & Mode: The Olympiad will be conducted in-person at the respective school premises on October 30, 2026. Students must adhere to the scheduling and guidelines provided by their school coordinator.
• Code of Conduct: Participants must maintain absolute academic integrity. Any form of cheating, plagiarism, or disruptive behaviour during the exam will result in immediate disqualification without a refund.
• Modification Rights: CAI reserves the right to modify the focus areas, timelines, or evaluation criteria under exceptional circumstances. Any such changes will be communicated to the registered schools/ students in advance.

Payment & Fee Policy

• Fee Collection: All registration fees must be paid in full through the authorized CAI payment gateway or designated school coordinator before the registration deadline.
• Incomplete Transactions: Registration is only confirmed upon receipt of a successful payment confirmation. CAI is not responsible for failed transactions due to technical issues on the user's bank or network provider's end.

Cancellation & No-Return Policy

• Strict No-Refunds: All registration fees are 100% non-refundable and non-transferable. Once a student successfully registered then it cannot be cancelled, exchanged, or transferred to another student.
• Absence Policy: If a student is absent on the day of the Olympiad due to illness, personal reasons, or any other unforeseen event, no makeup test or refund will be provided.
• Event Cancellation: In the rare event that the Olympiad is postponed or cancelled due to force majeure (e.g., extreme weather, government orders, or school closures), CAI will work to reschedule the event. No monetary refunds will be issued.

Disclaimer

• Content & Scope: The focus areas (Waste Management, Water Conservation, Climate Change, Energy Conservation, Biodiversity, Air Pollution, Current Affairs) serve as a syllabus guideline. CAI does not guarantee that every topic will be weighted equally, nor do we provide specific question leaks or identical practice materials.
• Evaluation & Results: The evaluation process managed by CAI is final and binding. No requests for re-evaluation, re-totalling, or viewing of answer sheets will be entertained.
• Limitation of Liability: CAI and its partners are not liable for any direct or indirect loss, injury, or disruption faced by participants traveling to or present at the school premises during the conduction of the examination.

Reservation Of Rights

CAI may request removal of registration at any time. CAI reserve the right to amend Terms and conditions at any point of time.
